Red Inc. was founded in the summer of 2014 by Madison Alexandra in the year following her graduation from Harvard University. Madison began the company as an in-person essay editing service in response to requests from close family friends to offer grammar advice on undergraduate application personal statements. Within the first few editing sessions, Madison began to notice that the essays needed more than perfected grammar…they needed a focused voice. She began to offer tips on development of ideas and creative, stand-out phrasing, to which the students readily responded and followed up with requests for development on the rest of their application essays.
After finishing with the first batch of students in the fall of 2014, Madison relocated to Los Angeles for career opportunities in entertainment. However, due to an influx of referrals from Dallas, Madison transformed the company into an online-only platform, conducting sessions over video chat.
Since its inception, Red Inc. has worked with clients all over the US from the high school level to the post-grad level on educational applications, personal statements, cover letters, and bios from artists to engineers. No matter the project, Red Inc.’s mission is to work with each client to translate their unique personality, passion, and purpose into a piece of writing that can represent their goals on a professional level.
